SO… THIS HAPPENED…
Moments before we were to take the stage last night to a sold-out crowd in New Orleans, the main wire supplying electricity to the building caught fire and exploded. Thankfully, no one was hurt. However, it took out half the power of the building, which left us with no guitar amps or vocal monitors, and the building with only half the lights and no AC.
However, before the power company came to fix the problem and restart the power for the building (which would’ve taken over an hour involving shutting all the power off), Fred and the guys got up and performed an impromptu “acoustic” set for about an hour, plugging a guitar through what was left of the PA, singing, and playing the bass drum for those who remained until the lights were turned off.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and sorry we could not perform our rock n roll revival, but circumstances were beyond our control. Nevertheless, I’d say that we gave it a pretty fair shake, doing our best to make sure the spirit of a Cowboy Mouth show could be (somewhat) enjoyed by all!

“Fred pulled it off like no one else could have,” Blancher said. “He’s just raw rock ‘n’ roll. He’s hard to beat. He’s such a force up there. He saved the night.”
I was lucky enough to be at this show and enjoyed the hell out of it. Thanks to the whole band for making this a truly unforgettable night!
So bringing the ceiling down once wasn’t enough, they had to fight with fire 😂
